Badass motherfucker?I think so. My desserts were to die for. Creme brulee should be defined as an orgasm, and its only destination is heaven through the use of taste buds.
To get off topic though, I’m trying to reinstall WoW into my brother’s and my new computer… and it couldn’t be taking ANY longer. Umm, hurry? I would very much like to reenter the world of which orcs and gnomes collide and brotherhood of the undead amongst the humans is only a sob of sweet sorrow. The quests of my fellow horde brethren must be completed and I… I shall once again reign over the lands of an RPG!! Amidst those who cross my path awaits death and destruction.
Yup. 9.8GB left. Myyyy Saturday night. The only Saturday night that I have had off from work in a VERY long time, and this is how I’m spending it. Highest of fives to me.
Zee Zweets are Zo Jummy!Translation: The sweets are so yummy.
Yes, that was “me” doing an online “French accent,” nifty right? Don’t have to tell me twice, haha. Anywho! I made desserts in class today:
- Creme Brulee
- Pot de Creme
- Flan
I don’t get to test their taste until Friday, but they all looked pretty good. The creme brulee might have been a smidge overcooked, but it was my first time if it ends up not turning out top notch— no biggie :) And I brought lemon meringue home, my mom was pleased haha. Baking rules.
BURGERRRR :)I’m just so glad that my love for cooking is growing more and more each day :D Like, ahhhh.. I was honestly a bit worried back when I started in August, at Le Cordon Bleu, that maybe it wasn’t the exact thing for me, or maybe I’m going in over my head, or what if I don’t have the right passion to pursue such a definite career?
That’s no longer the case. I honestly enjoy cooking. I love the ability to make food that can just light up the dance floor, IN YOUR MOUTH. I might not be all smiles while I’m in the kitchen (which I honestly think my dad finds to be a sin), but that is highly irrelevant to how I feel INSIDE. I glow with excitement from cutting up vegetables or sautéing whatever, even throwing in a handful of salt into my dish! (Totally not the best thing for cholesterol, might I say…)
I love food, and food loves me. In fact… I can’t deny it, I don’t want to fight it, you don’t wanna fuck with me. Doo doo da doo doo. :)

I love Mexican food. But I always find myself STUFFED afterwards, haha. Good thing I walked like 1/4 of a mile? Haha, not even. I need to do an actual workout today in order to compensate.
You might ask though, Where do you find this so called, “food from Mexican”? Ahaa, ahh yes good question. Well you see, I have a best frenn that lives down the street from me. Now she is back from New York for 4 days and well, her family is from a land called, Mexico. There resides pan dulce, enchiladas, flat carbs made from corn by the name of tortillas, a magical hot sauce called Tapatio, and much much more. :) It’s all a thrill. Take in all this fascinating information bite by bite because you’ll have the runs if you gobble it down.
